Rajaji Elders' Home lies on Poonamalle-Tiruvallur Highway at Aranvoyal village in Tiruvallur District. The home is 30 km from Chennai and offers single/double rooms and general living rooms for stay. The senior citizens, of age 55 years and above, without any mental problem or contagious diseases are sheltered. REST offers private single and double rooms as well as dormitory accomodation.
There is a library, hall for prayer and meditation. Medical facilities are provided. South Indian Hindu Festivals and events are celebrated. Other amenities include TV/ recreation room, 24hrs hot water with eco-friendly solar water heater, walkways around the lush gardens and lofty terrace.

We understand that each resident is an individual with unique needs and preferences. That's why we meet with residents and family and conduct an assessment - prior to move-in and at regular intervals after move-in - to understand the need for assistance and support

This assessment helps determine the appropriate care and service that preserve each resident's dignity, encourages independence and best enables freedom of choice.
